Buprenorphine/naloxone (brand name Suboxone) is an FDA-approved medication for opioid use disorder. Taken daily as a sublingual film, it eliminates cravings and prevents withdrawal — allowing patients to stabilize and rebuild their lives. It is safe for long-term use and is the gold standard of MAT.
Absolutely not. Opioid use disorder is a medical condition, not a moral failure. Every patient at Vora Health is treated with dignity, discretion, and genuine respect.
Your first visit is a comprehensive in-person intake evaluation. We review your medical and substance use history, screen for co-occurring conditions, discuss treatment options, and — if appropriate — begin the process of starting buprenorphine. Most patients leave with a treatment plan in hand.
Yes — counseling is a standard, integrated part of your care at Vora Health. Every patient receives personalized referrals to vetted counselors and recovery support services in the community.
Visit frequency depends on where you are in treatment. During induction and stabilization, visits are more frequent — weekly or bi-weekly. As you stabilize, visits move to monthly. All visits are in person at our Towson office.
Yes — and then some. Substance use disorder records are protected by both HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, a federal law with stricter confidentiality protections than standard medical records.
